Youth Group

Mission & Vision

Our mission for the Water's Edge Youth Group exists to help students grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ by teaching biblical truth, building authentic community, and encouraging students to live out their faith in everyday life.
We have a vision for our Youth Group to train students to know Christ's love personally and who will be a part of a spiritual awakening that will see Laconia, NH, so alive with the Gospel of Jesus that our schools, our families, our businesses, and our churches radiate His love and truth into our region and beyond.

See You There!

Wednesdays 630-800 pm at New Hope Barn.

Frequently Asked Questions

What ages are included?
Youth Group is open to middle school and high school students. Our goal is to provide a welcoming, Christ-centered space where students can grow in their faith, build relationships, and have fun together.
What happens at Youth Group?
Each Youth Group night typically includes:
  • Games and activities
  • Time to hang out and build friendships
  • Worship
  • A Bible-based message
  • Small group discussion
Everything is designed to help students connect with God and one another in meaningful, age-appropriate ways.
Where does Youth Group meet?
Youth Group meets at New Hope Barn.
During the day, New Hope Barn functions as a counseling space. During Youth Group hours, the building is reserved exclusively for youth activities—there is no counseling taking place at that time. The space is used solely for Youth Group programming and supervision.
What does drop-off and pick-up look like?
Parents typically drop students off at New Hope Barn. While students attend Youth Group, many parents choose to attend a small group meeting next door at the Dutile’s home.

Parents are welcome to return at the end of Youth Group for pick-up, and leaders ensure students remain supervised until they are picked up.
Is Youth Group safe?
Yes. Student safety is a top priority.
  • Adult leaders are background checked
  • Multiple leaders are present at all times
  • Clear supervision and safety guidelines are followed
  • Youth Group meets in a dedicated, reserved space during program hours
Is Youth Group counseling or therapy?
No. Youth Group is not counseling or therapy. While the location is used for counseling during the day, Youth Group is a discipleship-focused ministry centered on biblical teaching, worship, and community. Leaders are not acting as counselors during Youth Group meetings.

The Landing would be a great ministry to check out!
